1981 Williams Chief Bank-a-Flip Galactic Poker Dice pinball machine Building Location: Marv_E1 Game Type = SS
The 1981 Williams Chief Bank-a-Flip Galactic Poker Dice
is a custom Williams game based on the system7 board set
and fitted into a Williams Time Warp cabinet.
Duncan Brown made this game in 1981, to incorporate everything
he could think of into a home-made pinball machine! He did
things a bit differently, like making it a "black wood", opposed
to a "white wood" pinball design. Scoring is low, with no
"times 10" point levels (weird, almost EM-ish.)
The game has one of everything, at least it seems. There's
three pop bumpers, one slingshot, two vari-targets, 20 drop targets,
eight flashers, and a kick out hole. Finally there's a baseball style "pitch and bat"
flap that delivers the ball from a drain hole (unheard of in 1981).
This is pretty raw but fun game, especially given it's home-made
and hacked ROM origins.
This is the actual game at the VFW Pinball Museum.
